The location was very good and although the hotel looks quite old, the rooms are very clean. Bathroom and room are very spacious.. What we liked best was the swimming pool.
The pillows are too thin. Breakfast is not up to the hotel. The coffee and tea was terrible, the scones were hard as a rock, the orange juice was from a jar or was made with the peels of the orange, the tomato for the bread was not natural, etc.. We had a problem with the reservation and when we arrived we were told that our rooms were for individual use and breakfast was not included for two people, just one. Finally we had to pay 22 ? more, but in the reservation there was no information about individual use.. Besides, the receptionist was unpleasant and when we asked her for tourist information she was brief in order to dispatch us quickly.

Breakfast was at the hotel, in the cafeteria. At an affordable price, you can have a perfect breakfast. Location, without being in the city centre itself, is very good, as you can go for a walk of just 10 minutes and although the hotel has a car park, it is not difficult to park in the area. room was wide, comfortable, it did not lack anything. big, so that two people can use it at the same time without squeezing, with a bathtub, two toilets, etc. area of the terrace and pool is ideal for relaxing listening to music, sunbathing or taking a bath. At night I know that the terrace is also open, we do not enjoy it. staff, from the management to the last worker, is outstanding. Attentive and, most importantly, willing to solve your problem immediately and, moreover, they succeed. I take this opportunity to thank them for that.
It's hard to say that I didn't like it, because I've already said that my stay was perfect.

Conveniently located with a closed pool in September. Staff helpful, good-sized pool with quality loungers. Great car park at £6/night. Quiet restaurant, pleasant service, amazing meal. Comfortable stay, lovely pool, nice lunch, close to Roman ruins and old town. Good breakfast too!

room is very spacious. Hotel attended to the request made when the reservation was made. It is the second time I go and bathroom was reformed in a very elegant and functional way. Of the hotels in Merida, it is the one I prefer for many reasons. For breakfast at the brewery El Faro 50 meters across the road, coffee and toast with ham 2. 30? unbeatable!
The reception is very noisy, as soon as 15 clients or a bus of travellers coincide the acoustics are horribly annoying and uncomfortable. I attribute it to the configuration of the room, which is not small either. The receptionists must suffer a lot. Kitchen or snack times are very restrictive for a 4-star hotel. I seem to remember that from 4 to 6 in the afternoon they don't make you a skewer or a sandwich in the cafeteria and at 11 at night it's over until the next day. The truth is that for a fucking cold sausage skewer or a sandwich on the run (the cheapest one of ham and cheese costs 5 euros) you could do it in the same cafeteria that has a toaster for breakfast. We arrived at 4 pm and had to go out to eat something because the hotel was not serving. Well in the end we ate nearby much better and cheaper.

We stayed at this hotel and loved its central location, just a short walk from the city center and the famous Roman ruins. the room was clean and tidy, with a large bathroom and good quality linen. the staff were friendly and bilingual, providing a map of the city and even checking our bags for our day trip. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the convenience of free parking nearby.
The limited dinner options at the hotel's restaurant.

Friendly and helpful staff that made our stay enjoyable. The location of this place is great, as it is situated in a touristy area close to popular spots and the city center 🌍. Plus, it's convenient having a supermarket and shops nearby.

The room was clean and had an excellent shower.
The noise isolation of the rooms was terrible, we could ear everything from the other rooms, from our own bathroom or from the neighbors....other than that, nothing to point, but this is something i really was not expecting from a 4* hotel...
